Ken and Tan Sdn Bhd, one of the most successful local boat manufacturers in the country, has a known export market in Labuan and takes orders from as far as Australia."I don't believe prices play a major role for our overseas market. If you take Malaysia for instance, Brunei currency is more than double theirs. But we do (pay) careful attention to safety details, which are in line and recognised by international standards," said Mr S Y Tan, the company's Managing Director, in an interview with Sunday Bulletin.
