Brunei Darussalam has embarked on the full implementation of the Asean Cosmetic Directive (ACD) since January 1, 2011 after the end of a grace period of 36 months. The country had already implemented the cosmetic products notification procedure as stipulated in the medicines (Cosmetic Products) Regulations 2007 in June 2008.
