What Britain has been missing from trade and investment with MalaysiaNajib Razak, Malaysia’s prime minister, has rekindled interest of British businessmen in his country. His four-day visit from July 12-15 has been an eye-opener to them as Britain which, despite its historical colonial ties with the 13-state federation, has lost out to other countries in trade and investment by default. Britain ranked 18th last year as Malaysia’s trading partner while America was third and Germany was ninth.
