Brunei To Become Sustainable Nation

Minister of Development Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awg Hj Suyoi bin Hj Osman yesterday announced the publishing of the first ever State of Environment Report.

Addressing the National Conference on Environment, the minister said the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (JASTRe) would embark on the initiative broadly covering the areas of natural environment, human use and impacts, environmental quality and governance. It will serve as a baseline against which can gauge the progress of their efforts towards a sustainable country.
