The huge expected energy consumption of the country is one of the four key drivers in the country's commitment to seriously pursue Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC) and alternative energy, especially clean and renewable energy, that was lauded by Dato Paduka Hj Ali bin Hj Apong, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, who delivered a keynote address on behalf of Pehin Datu Singamanteri Col (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia Awg Hj Mohammad Yasmin bin Hj Umar, the Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister's Office, at the National Energy Conference entitled "Energy Efficiency and Conservation and Alternative Energy: Policy Options for Wawasan 2035" yesterday.
