Brunei: Earth Hour Is Not Enough

Since its humble beginnings in Australia four years ago, international citizens have continued to pledge support to achieve an ambitious goal of tackling climate change by taking part in what is globally known as Earth Hour.
It has also touched Brunei, to commit to the energy conservation cause despite subsidy privileges that the population of 400,000 enjoy on a daily basis.
The Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister's Office, Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, echoed his strong support for the move in an interview with the Weekend Bulletin.
