Brunei: Conserving & Rehabilitating Ecosystem

The "Action Plan for the Peatlands within the 'Heart of Borneo' Area in the context of Rehabilitating Degraded Peatlands and Reducing CO2 Emissions" began in October 2008 and is nearing completion. Jointly funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the UK and Standard Chartered Bank, the project is being implemented under the Heart of Borneo (HoB) initiative.
