Asean Ministers Hail Energy Cooperation Action Plan

The 29th Asean Ministers of Energy Meeting (AMEM) yesterday focused primarily on the directions and targets of key energy matters crucial to the realisation of the Asean Connectivity Master Plan which was endorsed in the Hanoi Summit last year, in-line with the theme "Asean Connectivity" adapted for this year's meeting. Also receiving crucial attention were topics related to energy efficiency and conservation, renewable energy and the progress of the energy co-operations with dialogue partners, with continued resilience towards growth in a sustainable manner to cope with increasing energy challenges.
